Successful dual career initiatives and programs at other universities

Virginia Tech’s ADVANCE program, called AdvanceVT, has collected a wide variety of resources relevant to the goals of NSF’s ADVANCE programs into a web portal. It also has a comprehensive list of dual career programs across the country along with descriptions.

The ADVANCE program at University of Texas – Pan-American hosted a Dual-Career Symposium in March 2014. Links to the presentations (PDFs) are provided below:

The Women in Science & Engineering Leadership Institute (WISELI) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has created a very extensive library, which includes over 2000 citations to resources that are relevant to the advancement of women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
